Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: April 21, 2026
Welcome to ULIX.ai and Skudio. By accessing or using our software, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. License and Usage
Skudio is a downloadable desktop software application. Upon purchase, your license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software on a specified number of machines, as detailed in your purchase agreement and enforced via Hardware ID (HWID) binding.
2. Data Privacy & API Keys
Skudio operates locally on your machine. API keys (such as OpenAI or Image Hosting keys) entered into the software are stored securely in your operating system's native keychain.
Privacy Guarantee: We never transmit, store, or possess your third-party API keys on ULIX servers.
3. Application Telemetry and Crash Reporting
To ensure the stability and continuous improvement of our software, Skudio includes telemetry features. Crash reporting is strictly opt-in. If enabled via the application settings, Skudio will automatically send anonymized error tracebacks, your operating system version, and software license tier to our servers when a fatal error occurs.
Voluntary feedback, bug reports, and application reviews submitted through the software are transmitted to our servers and associated with your license key to assist in customer support. If you choose to submit a review and grant public display permissions, ULIX.ai reserves the right to display the contents of your review on our marketing materials.
4. User-Generated Content
Any content generated by the AI using your API keys belongs to you. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content uploaded to your Shopify store complies with Shopify's terms of service and local laws.
5. Software Updates & Connectivity
Skudio requires an intermittent internet connection to verify your license, sync product taxonomy databases, and check for updates. While the core processing occurs locally, failure to verify a license may result in restricted access to export features.
