At ULIX.ai, we build tools that respect your data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website (ulix.ai) and our downloadable software, Skudio.

1. The "Local-First" Guarantee

Skudio is a local desktop application. We designed it specifically so that your sensitive business data remains in your control.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect the absolute minimum information necessary to provide our services and manage your license:

• Account Information: Your email address when you join our waitlist, subscribe to our newsletter, or create a ULIX account.
• License Verification Data: When you run Skudio, the software securely pings our server with your License Key and a hashed Hardware ID (HWID) to verify your purchase.
• Payment Information: All payments are processed securely through our Merchant of Record, Paddle. We do not collect or store your credit card details on our servers.
• Telemetry & Crash Reports: Skudio may send anonymous crash reports to help us fix bugs. This data contains stack traces and system environment info, but strips out personal product data. You can opt out of telemetry in the app settings.

3. Third-Party Services

While Skudio interacts with third-party services (like OpenAI or Shopify), it does so directly from your computer using your credentials. Your relationship with those services is governed by their respective privacy policies. Our website uses standard analytics and payment gateways (Paddle) to operate our business.

4. Data Security & Rights

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the account and license data we do hold. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting our support team.
